    Little Hiawatha Production Model Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). The star of this Dave Hand-directed cartoon timidly goes hunting in the woods, but cannot bring himself to kill; when he encounters a mean grizzly bear; it takes the forest animals (the same ones from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs) to save him! This is an original 12-field, 5-peghole color model drawing of Little Hiawatha in graphite with red and green pencil highlights and extensive color call-outs. At 7" tall, this is one of the largest Hiawatha drawings we've seen. The paper is marked Sc21, Sequence 41 H1. Fine condition.
