DescriptionLittle Hiawatha Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). This is an original production drawing of the young Indian hunter who has a hard time keeping his pants up; Dave Hand directed this Silly Symphony short. Hiawatha was one of Disney's first breakout stars and appeared in later cartoons as well as comic books and a long-running comic strip. The full-figure image is in graphite with great red, green, and blue pencil highlights, and measures approximately 5" x 2.5" on 12 field 5-peghole paper. The page is marked 19 in the lower right corner. Minor handling wear; Fine condition.
