    Description

    Little Hiawatha Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1937). Hiawatha comes face to face with his prey -- a cute bear cub! An outstanding original 12 field animation drawing from the Silly Symphony short directed by Dave Hand, first shown in theaters on 5/15/37. The art is in graphite with red and green pencil highlights, and a combined image area measuring approximately 5.5" wide by 4" tall. There are extensive animator notes along the lower right, with the number 165 written in the bottom corner. Some minor handling wear along the left side, away from the image; Fine condition.
