Leslie Cabarga - Betty Boop's Scandals of 1974 Record Album Illustration (Fleischer Studios, 1974). The 1970's saw renewed interest in Betty Boop and Fleischer cartoons by the counter culture and as a result Betty Boop's Scandals of 1974 record album/soundtrack was produced by George Garabedian in an attempt to capitalize on this growing fascination. The album released by Mark56 Records in 1974 is a compilation of songs from musical cartoons from the Max Fleischer studios. This is the original album sleeve cover art created by Leslie Cabarga for this soundtrack. It's a fantastic image of Bimbo and Betty in a row boat rendered in ink and gouache on illustration board. The art is signed by the artist to the right of the boat. It's an incredible one-of-a-kind painting of a very rare record album. It is framed under glass with a mat opening of 10" x 10.5 in a 17.5" x 17.5" frame. The piece shows minor handling and condition is Very Good. The frame is sold as-is.
