Description

Lady and the Tramp "What is a Baby?" Lady Animation Drawing Sequence of 3 (Walt Disney Studios, 1955). "It must be something grand 'cause everybody's smiling in a kind of wistful way, and they haven't even noticed that I'm around today. What is a baby, anyway?" Presented is an adorable sequence of three original 16 field 3-peghole animation drawings from Lady and the Tramp. This expressive set of drawings was created for the moments seen at the 28:37 mark of the film, during the memorable "What is a Baby?" musical number. The animators put so much care into this moment, and you can see it in each full figure drawing. Lady measures roughly 5" to 5.5" tall, centered on the animation paper. The drawings are numbered C510, C517, and C523 in the lower right with a timing chart on one page. Very Good condition with light edge and handling wear, and faint age-related toning.
