Description

Lady and the Tramp Trusty Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "As my grandpappy Old Reliable, used to say..." Loyal, brave, and a bit too lost in his reminiscent mind, this kind bloodhound is displayed wonderfully in this original 16 field 3-peg hole animation drawing. From Disney's 1955 classic Lady and the Tramp the friendly neighbor to Lady, Trusty, was animated with supervision by a duo of Disney Legends who were both amongst Walt's Nine Old Men, Milt Kahl (1909-1987) and Ollie Johnston (1912-2008). The drawing bears some resemblance to the films 13:43 timestamp when Trusty gets distracted by the past while Lady is showing off her new collar and license. Crafted with graphite pencil, and light brown color pencil for the under sketch, Trusty measures at approximately 7.25" x 5.5" and is marked as frame 48 in the top right corner. The page has light age-related toning, a peg-hole support from production on the middle hole, and handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
