Description

Lady and the Tramp Pair of Lady and Tramp Animation Drawings (Walt Disney, 1955). "Hello? Hello, Jim? Are you there, Jim? Central, we've been cut off." Aunt Sarah is left on the phone as Jim Dear excitedly dashes around the house after the birth of his new baby boy. Created for the moment seen at the 27:26 mark of Lady and the Tramp, this is a fantastic original rough animation drawing: a perplexed Lady observes the abandoned phone as Aunt Sarah fruitlessly calls out to Jim. An undeniably charming image of the eponymous Lady, this drawing is masterfully rendered in graphite on 16 field animation paper. Lady measures 5.25" x 4.75". The sheet is numbered 92 in the lower right corner. In addition, this drawing is joined by an original rough animation drawing of Tramp, rendered in graphite on 16 field animation paper. Tramp measures 7" x 6", and the drawing is numbered 16. Each drawing shows minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use, with slight age-related toning. Expressive full-figure production drawings of the film's titular lovebirds! The condition overall is Very Good.
