Description

Lady and the Tramp Lady Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "Don't you love showers?" Presented in this lot is an endearing animation drawing of Lady as she puts on an adorable performance noticed by none of baby shower guests. This drawing of the lovable Cocker Spaniel can be seen in final form around 26:18 timestamp. Sketched in loose graphite pencil this adorable rendering of Lady does show some evidence of being a rough animation with the do over of her right forearm. In traditional animation, the first drawings are called "rough animation" or "roughs" for short, because they are often done in a very loose style. Rough animation is crafted first to establish position, style, and timing for movement on screen before the images are approved. The 16 field 3-peg hole animation drawing is numbered 101 on the bottom right corner along with a timing chart. The page has handling and edge wear with the bottom left corner slightly torn, and light age-related toning. In Very Good condition.
