Lady and the Tramp Joe and Tony Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1955). Here is a pair of impressive 16 field animation drawings that helped make the classic "Bella Notte" scenes of Lady and Tramp, sharing spaghetti and meatballs, one of animation's most romantic and iconic moments. The lyrics to this song were written by Peggy Lee, with dialect comedian George Givot singing it on film. Bella Notte is Italian for "Beautiful Night." Drawing #1 is Tony with his accordion, in mid-song. The drawing is attributed to Disney Legend and one of Walt's "Nine Old Men," Mr. John Lounsbery; it's a detailed animation rough in graphite and blue pencil. The second drawing is Joe, in the kitchen, preparing the famous spaghetti and meatball dinner. This is in graphite and blue pencil on 16 field animation paper. Nice image of both Joe and the spaghetti, measuring 10". Joe has two sets of peghole punches at the bottom. Both pieces have minor handling and edge wear. Good condition.
