Description

Lady and the Tramp Jock Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "Do not listen, lassie. No human is that cruel." Jock assures Lady. This remarkable and large 16 field animation drawing of Jock comes from the 1955 Disney animated feature Lady and the Tramp. Jock, a Scottish terrier, is a close friend to Lady and later Tramp. He was animated by Disney Legend and one of Disney's "Nine Old Men" Ollie Johnston (1912 - 2008). This graphite with color pencil drawing can be found at about the 24:06 mark in the film after Tramp tells Lady that her family will put her on the street after the baby is born. He assures her that no human is that cruel and she will be alright. The drawing is labeled C-128 and Jock's full figure measures about 3.25'' x 4.5''. There is some edge and handling wear with light age-related toning. Small tears along the edges of the paper and additional pegholes from binder storage. Superficial wrinkles and slightly brittle paper, though not near the image. Good condition overall.
