Description

Lady and the Tramp Jock Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1955). "Now what?" "The scent, follow the scent." On a daring quest to rescue the wrongly dognapped Tramp, Jock uncertainly follows the blood hound, Trusty, in this heart-wrenching animation drawing. From the legendary dog romance, this is a remarkable piece of Walt Disney production history that just passed its 70th anniversary! As seen in final form near the 1:10:27 timestamp of the film, when Jock follows Trusty to a busy intersection with no leads, other than smell, on Tramps location. This mild-mannered Scottish terrier had animation directed by a duo of Disney Legends who were both amongst Walt's "Nine Old Men", Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston. With his voice provided by the talented Bill Thompson who also notably voiced Mr. Smee (Peter Pan) and the White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland). Rendered in graphite pencil, Jock has a full-figured drawn size of about 5" x 3" centered nicely on 16 field 3-peghole sheet and it is numbered 319A on both right corners. The page has minor handling and edgewear, faint age-related toning, and a middle peghole support from production. In Very Good condition.
