    Description

Just Mickey/Fiddlin' Around Animation Drawings Group of 2 (Walt Disney, 1930). This short had two working titles and was released on 3/14/30. Walt Disney directed this short, where Mickey was a sophisticated violinist who performs a one man show on stage. This is the first Mickey short not to have Ub Iwerks participation. Les Clark took over most of the Mickey animation at this point. This is a pair of very rare early 12 field, 2-peghole production drawings of Mickey Mouse from this short, with his double brow. Art is in graphite with red pencil highlights. Nice large images of 4.5" and 5". Drawings from this short are considered very rare. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition. From the Forbes Collection.
