Jungle Jitters Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1938). This is a pair of story development animation drawings from the Friz Freleng-directed short released on 2/19/38. It is artwork from one of the "Censored 11" shorts that are deemed too politically incorrect to air due to racial stereotypes. Any art from these films is considered extremely rare. You can see the natives dancing around the 0:51 mark. Rendered in graphite with multi-colored pencil on 12 field 2-peghole animation paper, the images of a lion and the native measure 4" and 5" tall respectively. The detail and colors of these two pieces is unbelievable. The paper shows minor handling and tanning; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
