DescriptionJimmy the Idiot Boy Illustration by John K. (Spumco, c. 1990s). This goofy but lovable character was first seen at the end of pre-1993 Ren and Stimpy cartoons and as the logo for Spumco. It had as a tag line, "The Danes call it Quality." This character was voiced and created by John Kricfalusi. He was the mascot for Spumco as well as a character on the animated Internet series, The Goddamn George Liquor Program and also in a music video by Bjork. This is a gouache painting of Jimmy the Idiot boy attributed to John K. It is on skimmed illustration board measuring 20" x 14". The artwork image is a striking 8", hand-signed by John Kricfalusi as "John K." Minor tape stains on the borders and minor handling. Fine condition.
