    Jiminy Cricket World War ll Standee Illustration by Hank Porter (Walt Disney, 1940s). "Soldier... Wasted food prolongs the war. Eat your fill... Don't take more!" This is a historical piece of original artwork by Disney Studios staff artist Hank Porter (1900 - 1951) for the design of a World War II Standee. It was created for the "Army Air Corps Technical Training Command" and their emblem is in Jiminy's left hand. The drawing is graphite on paper and Jiminy measures 9" tall. The piece is framed with a mat opening of 9" x 7", in a 15.5" x 13.5" frame. This is Classic Disney Studio artwork done for the war effort. Condition is Fine.
