    Description

    It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown Children's Book Illustration Linus and Sally Original Art (1970s). "You blockhead! You've kept me up all night waiting for the Great Pumpkin and all that came was a beagle!" A fantastic cel and background setup used for the Read-Along Book and Record set from 1978. It can be seen on page 17. Created as a printed line art cel on top of a hand-painted gouache Key Master background on illustration board. The colors are striking on this 12.75" x 11" board with an image area of 10" x 8". Linus and Sally are 3" tall (including the pumpkins). While traditional animation has many similar images and cels in a scene, in book illustration, there is just the one Key Master setup! So this is an extremely rare key scene and in Fine condition.
