    Description

It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Book Illustration (Bill Melendez, 1978). Charlie Brown: "Hey I got an invitation to a Halloween Party!" Lucy: "Is it to Violet's party, Charlie Brown?" Charlie Brown: "Yes, it's the first time I've ever been invited to a party!" A wonderful original hand-painted Key Master book illustration of Charles Schulz's Charlie Brown and Lucy as our hapless hero finally gets his Halloween party invitation. This was done as page 6 for the Read Along Book and Record book released in 1978 as a tie-in to the 1966 TV Special. This master painting is on board with black line art on a top cel. Illustration board is 9" x 12" with 3" images. Great background painting of the fall tree and leaves. Fine condition.
