    How to Animate Film Cartoons Page Illustration by Preston Blair (Walter T. Foster, 1980). This is the final art titled "Rhythm and Design in Cartoon Art" that was created by noted animator Preston Blair (1908 - 1995). This was featured on page 24 of his art instructional book How To Animate Film Cartoons published in 1980 by Walter T. Foster. The art is composed of individual drawings trimmed and mounted to board for publication. Page 24 is written on upper right on the boards. Preston Blair signed his name in full and wrote page 24 on the cover sheet overlay. This artwork originally was sold from the Estate of Preston Blair. Graphite and India ink on paper mounted to 20" x 15" illustration board; image sizes take up 17.5" x 13.25". Minor handling wear, and tape and glue marks. One small element (of a rabbit) appears to be missing. Good condition.
