    How the Grinch Stole Christmas Original Production Drawing Signed by Chuck Jones (MGM, 1966). "You're a foul one Mr. Grinch" In the holiday classic film How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a grumpy hermit hatches a plan to steal Christmas from the Whos of Whoville. The story was written by Dr. Seuss (1904 - 1991) and directed by legendary animator, Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002). The drawing was rendered in graphite on 12 field animation paper. The piece is signed by Chuck Jones and has a Linda Jones seal on the drawing. The artwork is in a frame measuring 20" x 18" under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 12" x 10". A plaque reading, "Grinch Original Production Cel The Grinch Who Stole Christmas 1966" is also in the frame. Included is a Certificate of Authenticity issued by Linda Jones Enterprises. Frame sold as-is. This is a superb piece by a true legend of animation and a "must have" for any discerning collector of animation art. Fine condition. From the MacLaughlin Family Disney Collection.
