Description
Hoppity Goes to Town Model Sheet Bible Book (Max Fleischer, 1940). An original animator's "bible" of complied Studio Model Sheet prints, created for use on the Fleischer Brothers' second animated feature, Hoppity Goes to Town. All major characters from the film are included: Hoppity, Honey Bee, Mrs. Lady Bug, and her children, Beetle, and more, in forty-three 12 field sheets compiled together. There is a contents page hand-lettered in graphite, followed by 43 pages with pasted-on model sheet prints. An impossibly rare item; this came from the estate of longtime Fleischer/Famous Studios animator, Tom Johnson. Overall condition is Very Good.
