Description
Hockey Champ Donald Duck Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1939). In this short, Hockey Champion of Duck Swamp and general know-it-all, Donald Duck decides he must teach his nephews the proper way to play hockey... with predictably disastrous results. This original production drawing is from around the 1:43 mark where Donald skates over to lecture Huey, Dewey, and Louie on the finer points of the game. The 5" x 4" full-figure image is rendered in graphite with green pencil shadowing on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper with 61 written in the lower right corner. The paper shows minor handling.
