Description
High School DxD "The Showdown Begins" Issei Hyodo Animation Drawing Group of 3 (TNK, 2012). "My special technique!" Issei Hyodo is ready to perform his signature Dress Break attack in this lot that presents a group of three animation drawings showing the protagonist of High School DxD rising his Booster Gear as dragon wings appear behind him. This spectacular image of Issei can be seen at the 17:10 timestamp of the episode during his exciting fight against the servants of the member of the Phenex clan, Riser, as part of the Rating Game. Rendered in graphite with colored pencil shading and highlights, the drawings presented include two great pictures of Issei in this incredible pose on 14.5" x 10.5" and 15.75" x 10.5" animation sheets, with a correction drawing on an 14.25" x 10" yellow animation sheet. Included with the lot are an exposure sheet from the episode's production and a studio-used photocopy of the layout drawing colored with yellow pencil. The correction drawing and the copy of the layout drawing have the peghole area taped to their respective top edges, and the copy shows some toning on the tape. The lot is in Very Good condition presenting overall minor handling wear from production.Auction Info
