    Description

Harvey Kurtzman Sesame Street Original Animation Art Group of 2 (Phil Kimmelman & Assoc., 1970s). Kurtzman's conceptual painting distinguishes this grouping, which also includes the final animation art in cel-overlay form. Remarkable distinctions between the MAD Magazine creator's spontaneous vision and the finished TV version -- especially so, in the varied expressions on the boatman's face. Ink and watercolors over graphite on Bristol board. Image areas, 12" x 9.5". Light to moderate toning. Excellent condition.
