Hank Porter "Goofy" WWII Insignia Illustration (Walt Disney, c. 1940s). From the hand of Hank Porter, is this great World War II original Insignia artwork of Goofy. This was done for the Air Supply Service Advance/Section 3. The Air Supply division in World War II was responsible for supplies and equipment shipped between the US and overseas battle area. This division also operated worldwide air transportation for military personnel. The artwork is graphite with blue pencil highlights. Goofy has his air goggles and bomber jacket on. Goofy was the third most used Disney character in World War II Insignias. The paper is cut in the circular shape of an insignia, with an 8" diameter. Goofy is in a nice 5" pose. A fantastic image! Fine condition. From the Hank Porter Estate.
