Hair-Raising Hare Bugs Bunny and Gossamer Monster Drawing by Virgil Ross (Warner Brothers, c. 1990s). "Monsters lead such interesting lives...!" A original one-of-a-kind drawing by famed Warner Brothers animator, the late Virgil Ross. This is done on 3-peghole animation paper in graphite and colored pencil. It is inspired by the classic scene from the 1946 Chuck Jones directed short Hair-Raising Hare of Bugs Bunny and Gossamer the Monster (his first appearance). These drawings were done for a line of Virgil Ross-signed, limited edition cels, and he made personal appearances at the Warner Brothers Studio Stores and Animation Galleries to promote them. The artwork is signed and Bugs is 6" tall while Gossamer is an imposing 8" and is in Fine condition.
