Grave of the Fireflies Setsuko Animation Drawing (Studio Ghibli, 1988). "Where's Mama?" From Studio Ghibli's heartbreaking anime classic, Grave of the Fireflies, we offer a wonderful animation drawing of Setsuko as she asks about her mother's whereabouts. Directed by Isao Takahata, this film is based on the short story by Akiyuki Nosaka, centered on two siblings surviving the horrors of the last months of World War II. The presented 13.75" x 9.25" animation drawing, numbered B11 in the top right corner, displays a 3.75" x 7.25" image of Setsuko rendered in graphite and color pencils, with color callouts in red ink, created for the film's scene at about the 14:06 timestamp. The drawing shows paint residue, a fold crease on the bottom left area, overall toning, small missing pieces, and toned stains along the edges. With some handling and edge wear from production, the lot is in Good condition.
