DescriptionGoofy Sketch by Eric Goldberg with Goofy Book (Art Babbitt Estate, c. 1990s). "What are ya... Goofy?" When Art Babbitt returned from World War II and following the Disney Strike, he was put to work with Jack Kinney on Goofy cartoons; he is credited with giving Goofy a great deal of personality at the time. This is an original drawing of Goofy by Eric Goldberg which was presented to Art Babbitt's wife Barbara Perry. The signed drawing of Goofy measures 9" and is inscribed "To Goofy' s Stepmom." The one-of-a-kind drawing is in a frame measuring 20" x 20". Along with the drawing is Art Babbitt's copy of the 1985 book Walt Disney's Goofy - The Good Sport. Inside this book is a 4" x 6" note card where Art Babbitt has noted 12 pages that either reference his work or items of personal interest. Overall condition for the lot is Very Good. Frame is sold as-is. From the Art Babbit Archives.
