Description
Garfield Oversized Sketch by Jim Davis (PAWS/Universal Press Syndicate, c. 1990s). Garfield phones two of his ardent fans, in this large black marker sketch from his creator, Jim Davis. The Garfield newspaper comic strip has been nationally syndicated since 1978 (with roots that go back a couple of extra years). Garfield has since been the star of his own much-loved animated television series (well, three to be exact, with another one in the works), plus twelve TV Specials. This big sketch is on paper measuring 19" x 24", with Garfield's approximate size coming in at 12" x 9". Hand-signed by Jim Davis in the lower right.
