Description

Fred Crippen Roger Ramjet "Call to Arms" Scroll Background Production Drawing (Pantomime Pictures/Hero Entertainment, 1965). One of the funniest cartoon series from the 1960s was Roger Ramjet, who, with his pint-sized crew, the American Eagles, kept the world safe from bad guys like Noodles Romanoff, Red Dog the Pirate, and Tequila Mockingbird. Each cartoon opened with a theme sung by children that went, "Roger Ramjet, he's our man, hero of our nation; for his adventures just be sure to stay tuned to this station!". This long scroll introduced the crew's intent with an impossibly long list of attributes, drawn on paper affixed to a light blue painted pan background on nine-peghole board, measuring approximately 39" x 4.5". A few elements of the trimmed paper are missing, and some of the lettering (done in colored marker) have faded; the board itself has numerous tack holes, and is in overall Good condition. Extremely rare!
