Description
FernGully: The Last Rainforest Hexxus Animation Drawing Sequence of 4 (Kroyer Films, 1992). Balefully coalescing into being from a noxious cloud as he fills the air with malevolent laughter, it's Hexxus in this dramatic sequence of 4 original animation drawings from FernGully: The Last Rainforest. Voiced by the legendary Tim Curry, the insidious spirit of pollution Hexxus makes for a memorable villain in a film that uses fiction and fantasy to warn about the real-world dangers of deforestation and pollution. This sequence can be spotted beginning near the 1:03:45 mark of the film's exciting climax. Rendered in graphite with frame H-270 also including blue pencil art corrections, Hexxus averages an imposing character size of approximately 8" x 8.5" across each of the 16 field animation papers. Each sheet includes a production code indicating sequence order in the lower right including H-220, H-234, H-270, and H-308. With typical studio handling and edge wear including reinforcement of all pegholes, superficial surface wrinkles with light curling of the lower edge, minor corner creasing, small areas of light smudging/staining, and areas of faint age-related toning, overall this sequence is in Very Good condition.Auction Info
