Fantasia "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" Yen Sid Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Mickey Mouse is the Sorcerer's Apprentice, to the Sorcerer called Yen Sid. Most Disney fans know this name is "Disney" spelled backwards. When he returns to find total bedlam going on, he appears at the top of the stairs, waves his hands and arms, and all is returned to normal. Mickey walks up to him and Yen Sid snatches his hat back. This is a rare 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of the exact scene where Yen Sid grabs back his hat from Mickey. His menacing eyes are amazing! Great image in graphite with red pencil highlights, with an image size of 8". The number 56 is written in the bottom right corner; it matches the "C 56" Mickey drawing also offered in this auction. This is a very hard-to-find character in terms of original 1940 Fantasia art. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
