    Description

Fantasia Sunflower Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940).
When Fantasia was re-released on 12/17/69, which was considered the "Psychedelic" release with its "Fillmore" style re-release poster, four scenes were removed due to their offensive nature. One of the characters removed was the playful Sunflower, who waits on and pampers the female Centaurettes. This is a rare 12 field animation drawing of Sunflower, in a large 6" graphite image on 5-peghole animation paper. This drawing is stamped Prod. 2004/Seq. 4.2/Scene 37 in the lower left corner. Sunflower is a very rare character to find in animation art. Artwork condition is Very Good.
