    Fantasia Storyboard and Sound Effects Animation Drawing Art Group of 3 (Walt Disney, 1940). The first musical movement of Fantasia is the Toccata and Fuge in D minor section by Bach. This introduction section was directed by Samuel Armstrong. The story development was done by Lee Blair, James Plummer, and Phil Dike. This is a pair of extraordinary pastel storyboard sketches for this opening scene. Each one is on 5-peghole 5 field paper measuring 8" x 9", with images measuring 7" x 5". A clear cel is stapled over the pastel artwork. One is numbered 11 while the other is 12. Also in this lot is a sound effects chart animation drawing done on 16 field 5-peghole animation paper; it's in graphite with red pencil highlights, with a nice large image size of 9". The number 74 is written in the corner. Minor handling and edge wear; overall Very Good condition.
