DescriptionFantasia Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice Rough Animation Drawings Sequence of 6 (Walt Disney, 1940). Most fans of The Mouse will readily tell you that Mickey's greatest role was as the Sorcerer's Apprentice in Fantasia. Any original animation artwork of Mickey Mouse from this film is sure to be highly desired by collectors. Here is a superb sequence of six original 12 field 5-peghole roughs of Mickey as he scrambles out of the water in an attempt to stop his magically-enhanced broom from bringing in more buckets of the wet stuff. This starts at approximately 5:20 within the segment. These drawings are in graphite, and average 4" to 4:75" in height. The are numbered in the upper right corners as 49, 51, 69, 107, 109 (with light red penciling), and 111. The paper is very lightly toned, but with very little handling wear, for an overall condition of Fine.
