Description
Fantasia Mickey Mouse as The Sorcerer's Apprentice Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Mickey Mouse sheepishly hands the sorcerer Yen Sid (Disney spelled backwards) the broom after making a watery mess of things in the famous Fantasia segment "The Sorcerer's Apprentice." This is a fantastic original animation drawing of Mickey from the 38:46 mark of Disney's iconic feature film. It is rendered in graphite with red and green pencil on 12 field, 5-peghole animation paper. The wonderfully expressive full-figure image measures 6" x 4". The notation C22 is written in the lower right corner, and the paper overall shows minor handling with light smudging in places. It is in an 18" x 16" frame under Plexiglas with a mat opening of 11.5" x 9.5". The condition of this 80-year-old piece is Very Good and the frame is sold as-is.Auction Info
