Fantasia Mickey Mouse as the Sorcerer's Apprentice Animation Drawing Original Art (Walt Disney, 1940). In celebrating Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday, one would have to put his performance in the Fantasia segment "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" as his greatest role. This is one of the single best animation drawings from this performance we have seen to date. As total bedlam is going on, Yen Sid appears at the top of the stairs, and waves his hands and arms, and all is returned to normal. Mickey sheepishly walks up to him and hands back the Sorcerer's hat after Yen Sid walks down the stairs. This is an outstanding original 12 field 5-peghole animation drawing of Mickey handing the hat back. You can see this around the 8:44 mark. Great image, with a size of 5". Art is in graphite with green and yellow pencil highlights. The notation "C66" is written in the bottom right corner. Minor handling and edge wear. Very Good condition.
