DescriptionFantasia Mickey Mouse Animation Drawings Sequence of 4 (Walt Disney, 1940).
"There is a legend about a Sorcerer who had an apprentice. He was a bright young lad. Very anxious to learn the business!" This adorable and heartfelt sequence of four drawings is from Mickey Mouse's greatest role, as the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Fred Moore did much of the animation on this, as he introduced Mickey Mouse with pupils in his eyes with this new design. Here is a fine sequence of animation drawings of Mickey as he walks up to Yen Sid sheepishly and hands back the magic hat to him, after the sorcerer walks back down the stairs. You can see this image at the 8:44 mark into the segment. The illustrations were rendered in graphite with colored pencil highlights on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. The images measures 4" and are noted as S60, C78, C84, and 87I. Minor handling and edge wear. In Very Good condition.
