    Description

    Fantasia Madame Upanova Layout Drawings Group of 4 (Walt Disney, 1940). Series of four amazing layout drawings of Madame Upanova and her ostrich ballerinas, from the "Dance of the Hours" sequence. Art is in graphite with red and blue pencil highlights on 12 field 5-peghole animation paper. Three are stamped on back "Concert Feature," dated July 1939. These are from the hand of James Bodrero, who was a character designer on this section. All four are individually matted with mat openings of 10" x 8". Beautiful early concept artwork, with image sizes of 4" to 7". Minor handling and edge wear. Fine condition.
