Fantasia "Night on Bald Mountain" Chernabog Animation Drawing (Walt Disney, 1940). Chernabog grins menacingly in this hand-drawn animation drawing from the iconic Disney film Fantasia. This 16 field 5-peghole drawing was rendered in graphite with color pencil and is from the unforgettable "Night on Bald Mountain" sequence. The villain looks right at home in the inky darkness, found at about the 5:26:13 mark when he leans forward and glares with vibrant yellow eyes. Chernabog measures an imposing 9'' x 9''. The drawing is labeled 239 and a half and includes a production note to the inkers. Minor studio handling and edge wear, light age-related toning, and faint blue highlights on the back. Very Good condition overall for this iconic and visually striking character.Auction Info
