Description
Easter Yeggs Bugs Bunny Animation Drawing (Warner Brothers, 1947). "Here's an egg for ya, kid. And hold on to it real tight." From the 1947 theatrical animated short Easter Yeggs comes this original animation drawing of Bugs filling in for the Easter Bunny. This feature marked the 500th animated short released by Warner brothers and was also the first Robert McKimson (1910-1977) directed short to feature Bugs with Elmer Fudd. Basket in hand and winking as he saunters out of frame, Bugs can be spotted near the 3:12 mark of the film, his full-figured character measuring a fantastic 4.25" x 7". The image has been rendered by hand in graphite on 2-peghole 12 field animation paper and is accompanied by a Linda Jones Letter of Authenticity. The animation sheet has toned slightly with age and has remaining bits of tape in the top corners. With typical studio handling and wear, the condition is Very Good.Auction Info
