Description

Dumbo Storyboard Original Art (Walt Disney, 1941). "Well how do you like that? Giving him the cold shoulder." This is a fantastic piece of storyboard art featuring Timothy Q. Mouse from Dumbo. In contrast to the soft and innocent nature of Dumbo, Timothy is brazen, fearless, and shrewd. A storyboard is a collection of illustrations or images displayed in sequence for the purpose of pre-visualizing a motion picture, animated cartoon, or interactive media sequence. The storyboarding process, in the form it is known today, was developed at the Walt Disney Studios during the early 1930s. The story department, where this piece originated was headed by Disney Legend Inductees, Joe Grant and Dick Huemer. This storyboard was beautifully detailed in graphite on animation paper. The piece is enclosed in a glass-fronted frame of 13.25" x 12.25" with a matboard aperture of 7.25" x 6.75". Frame sold as-is. Mild handling and age-related toning. Condition is Very Good.
