Dumbo Clowns Storyboard Art Group of 5 (Walt Disney, 1941). "Can't get over the way we rolled them in aisles. Let's raise the platform the elephant jumps off of." The clowns in silhouette are talking about Dumbo's high dive and go into a song, "We're Gonna Ask the Big Boss for a Raise." This is an Art Babbitt scene, in a series of four rare storyboards of the clown silhouettes. Three are taped to 12 field 5-peghole animation paper, and one of a clown in a hammock is loose, not taped to the sheet. Also, another storyboard of two clowns having pie and beverage from another scene is included. The detail on these five storyboards is amazing. The three taped to 12 field paper measure 8" x 6". The free-floating one is 7.5" x 6", with a slight border tear where tape was. The final storyboard is 9.5" x 8" on a 5-peghole storyboard sheet. Some amazing artwork in this lot. Minor handling and edge wear. Tape on borders of three. Good overall condition.
