Description

Duel Personality Jerry the Mouse Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966). This Tom and Jerry short, directed by Chuck Jones and Maurice Noble, is one of the few where Tom actually comes out ahead! The pair are dueling with various weapons, each doing "damage" in unexpected ways. In this original 12 field animation drawing from the short, Jerry has chosen bows and arrows, and is about to launch one in Tom's direction. You can see this online at the 3:04 mark. Surprisingly, both duelists find their mark -- but not with arrows! Art is in graphite over brown underpenciling, with a full-figure overall approximate image size of 4.5" x 2". The sequence number in the lower right is 16. A Chuck Jones Gallery Letter of Authenticity is included. Fine condition with very minor handling wear.
