Dragon Ball "Quicker Than Lightning" Goku Pan Animation Drawing (Toei Animation, 1988). "There's the Holy Crown..." Goku attempts to retrieve a legendary circlet for a special training mission in this original pan animation drawing from Akira Toriyama's Dragon Ball, episode 127 "Quicker Than Lightning". Sent by Kami and Mr. Popo to collect the crown from atop Mount Rumble, Goku quickly learns this task is not as easy as it seems due to the crown attracting lightning strikes when worn. He can be spotted attempting to retrieve it for a second time near the 21:19 mark of the episode. Goku has been rendered in graphite and colored pencil to an astonishing character size of 12.75" x 11" on the large 20.75" x 13.5" pan animation sheet. The sheet includes a production code near the center top edge and layout blocking that matches the closeup frame seen on screen. The page has been folded and exhibits creases. With typical handling and edge wear including the noted creases and some faint areas of staining, overall this incredibly large drawing is in Very Good condition.
