Dr. Slump Arale Animation Drawing Sequence of 9 with Layout Drawing (Toei Animation, c. 1981-86). The lovable android Arale gets knocked to the ground in this incredible sequence of nine original animation drawings and a matching studio-printed layout drawing from the beloved classic Dr. Slump. Created by Akira Toriyama of Dragon Ball fame, Dr. Slump follows the comedic adventures of this little robot in the quirky town of Penguin Village. This complete sequence is numbered A1, A2, A3, A4, A5, A6, A7, and A8, with an eye blink animation drawing numbered B5. The set is accompanied by a studio-printed layout drawing with the production numbers 141, Cut 262. Rendered in graphite and color pencil on 12 field animation paper, these drawings show minor handling and edge wear from normal studio use. One of the drawing's pegholes are attached with tape.
