    Description

Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Grinch Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966). "Well, in Whoville they say that the Grinch's small heart grew three sizes that day. And then the true meaning of Christmas came through, and the Grinch found the strength of ten Grinches plus two." This is an original graphite animation drawing with blue and light pink pencil highlights of the Grinch saving the sleigh filled with the Who's Christmas presents and decorations. It can be seen around the 19:06 mark into the film. This amazing production drawing takes up nearly the entire 12 field 3-peghole sheet and is numbered 12 in the lower right corner. This is one outstanding and very rare animation drawing from the climax of this perennial holiday TV classic. The paper shows light handling, erasures and smudges; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
