    Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Grinch Animation Drawing (MGM 1966). The sleigh is loaded down with the Who's presents, as the Grinch cracks his whip and off they go. This is a superbly rendered production drawing of the Grinch from this beloved TV special. The look of malice in the Grinch's expression is exceptional. The graphite rendering which includes the whip and reigns has an overall measurement 8" x 10" with the character measuring 3" x 2" on 12 field 3-peghole paper. The drawing is signed by this special's director, animation legend Mr. Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002); it bears a Linda Jones seal and includes a Certificate of Authenticity. The drawing is numbered 14 in the lower right and includes a production stamp beneath the signature. There is clear tape along the top and bottom edges and the paper shows light handling and edge wear; otherwise, condition is Very Good.
