    Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Grinch and Max Animation Drawing With One of One Cel (MGM, 1966). "Then the Grinch got a wonderfully, Grinchy idea." This is an original animation drawing of both the Grinch and his faithful dog Max from their harrowing Christmas Eve sleigh ride down to Whoville and this frame can be seen at the 11:40 mark. With it is a hand-painted one-of-one cel created from the drawing. Director Chuck Jones (1912 - 2002) signed the pair, each bears a Linda Jones holographic seal and comes with a Linda Jones COA. Max and the Grinch measure approximately 6" and 4.75". Both pieces are matted with side by side 9" x 11" openings, and framed under glass for an overall size of 15.25" x 31.25". The Jones signature on the cel is slightly faded and the drawing has a crease in the upper right corner; otherwise, condition is Fine. Frame is sold as-is.
