Description

Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas Grinch Animation Drawing (MGM, 1966).
The Grinch explains to Cindy Lou Who the taking of her Christmas tree, in this original production drawing; it's from the 16:30 mark in the special. This is a beautifully detailed production drawing rendered in graphite, measuring 8" x 7" on 12 field 3-peghole paper. The drawing is noted as number 17 in the lower right corner and an animator's timing chart runs along the bottom edge of the paper. This wildly popular holiday classic has aired every year since its release, and artwork from it is in increasing demand by collectors. The paper shows very light handling and some edge wear. Condition is Fine.
