    Description

Dr. Seuss' Horton Hears a Who Concept Drawing Group (MGM, 1970). This Chuck Jones-directed CBS-TV special was made in conjunction with Cat in the Hat Productions, and had the direct involvement of Ted Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss. This is a group of four concept artwork pieces from this production, featuring very Seuss-like characters drawn by unknown artists. They come from the estate of a longtime Chuck Jones employee, Don Foster. Three pieces are on 12-field, 3-peghole animation paper in a combination of graphite, color pencil, and black marker; one is on onion skin paper in graphite and crayon. Minor handling wear, otherwise Fine condition. From the Don Foster Collection.
